Cold Weather and other Parent Reminders!

PLEASE REMEMBER to send your child to school with coats, hats and gloves – students may go out for fresh air at recess. Also, PLEASE PUT NAMES IN ALL COATS, AND SWEAT SHIRTS! It's a good idea to label all student items with their names: lunch boxes, coats, sweat shirts, and sweater, hats, gloves. Items are always being found, and labeling will help find its rightful owner! Thank you in advance for your help!

Virus, cold & flu season are upon us. Remember to discuss with your children the importance of hand-washing - it's the best prevention for spreading germs.

If you have a concern, please remember to address your concerns to the appropriate person as soon as possible, waiting often causes other issues. Remember, most concerns are due to no communication or miscommunication.

Every Thursday Communication Envelopes will be sent home with your child. Important papers to keep you informed of what is going on at Saint Mary’s School and our community will be sent home in the Communication Envelopes. A few things to remember…

  • Please return the communication envelope to school with your child each week

  • Please do not return any completed forms, notes, checks, etc. in the communication envelope. Your child’s teacher does not look through the envelope. Forms, notes, etc. should be sent in through school directly to your teacher or the school office.

Can you help the Art Room?
The Art Room is looking for Large Rolls of Paper from Printers!! If anyone works for or knows someone who works with a printing company, the Art Room would love to have any leftover donations of rolls of paper! Many of our murals for the Art Show were created on rolls of paper previously donated to St. Mary School. We are currently running low and are gearing up for this spring's Art Show. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!

also.... Art Room is always looking for Styrofoam egg cartons and large plastic yogurt containers! Please think about recycling these items to our Art Program. Thank you!

A very special thank you to Sims Lawson and the Lawson Family. In lieu of gifts for his 10th party, Sims asked his party guests to make a donation to the St. Mary’s Tuition Angels Program! Many thanks to Sims for his generosity and spirit! The greatest gift is the ability to help others.
