Hello St. Mary School Band Parents and Students,

Welcome Back St. Mary School Band!  Welcome to an exciting school year for the St. Mary Band!  We are going to have a great year in band and we can’t wait to have you join us!! 

1. Band at St. Mary School – Lessons and band practice will be held in the Music Room on Wednesdays this year.  We are grateful to Mr. Repko for providing us with this nice room to have band!  Lessons for advanced students will start Wednesday, September 8^th and before school band practices will begin Wednesday, September 29^th from 8:00-8:25 am.  A lesson schedule and weekly email updates will be sent out after all students enroll.

2. Tuition – All students should please enroll for band online today by clicking the “Enroll Now” button on the St. Mary School Band information page. www.nemusicprograms.com/recruitment/st-mary-schwenksville-instrumental-program/ Included on this page are videos and documents about the instruments, lesson program and costs.  Instruments can also be rented here through the “Rent An Instrument” button.  More information about the program is also found on the NMP website under the parent/student tab www.nemusicprograms.com .  If you have any questions or prefer to enroll by phone, please call Northeastern Music Programs at 1-888-636-2439.

3.  Instruments and Supplies – This year, students will need five items:  instrument, lesson book (Essential Elements for Band), a folding music stand, face mask (with a slit for the mouthpiece) and bell cover (flute students will need a flute shield).  Face masks, bell covers, flute shields and sanitizer can be ordered through Menchey Music using this link www.shopmenchey.com/c-555-instrument-ppe-and-sanitizer.aspx . These supplies can also be ordered by phone through Menchey Music at 1-888-636-2439.
