Please take a moment to contact your Members of Congress to ask for emergency aid to Catholic schools and our families in the next Covid-19 Legislation package.

Today, Governor Wolf announced that all Pennsylvania school buildings would remain closed for in-person instruction through the remainder of the 2019-20 academic year. Archdiocesan schools have been successfully operating with flexible instruction since March 16 and will continue with this method of instruction indefinitely.

Based on the mandate by the PA Department of Education, instructed by the Governor of the state, schools are closed for in-person instruction and students will continue learning remotely. If the mandate changes, we will consult the Archdiocese on the possibility of reopening the school for the remainder of the school year. Please know that it is our full intention to comply with our governing bodies during this pandemic.

As the COVID-19 situation continues to develop, our primary concern is the safety of our community. At this time, we have decided to cancel the Showcase/Open House scheduled for tomorrow night.

We at Saint Mary Catholic School continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation. Our primary concern is the safety of our school community. At this time, we will continue business as usual with our regularly scheduled activities; this includes our Student Showcase this Thursday, March 12. Please understand that the situation is fluid and a decision to cancel activities could be made in short notice.
