Hello, everyone!  My name is Austin Wisser and I am excited to be returning to the wonderful community of Saint Mary for another school year. 

I have worked with students from Pre-K to the college level as a teacher and camp counselor since I was 16 years old.  I graduated with a bachelor's degree in secondary social studies education and a master's degree in public history from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 2017 and 2018 respectively.  I worked for ESS as a substitute teacher from 2017-2019 and then as a building substitute for Souderton Area High School from 2019-2021.  I taught classes of 6-12th-graders in almost every subject imaginable.  During the 2021-2022 school year, I was a full-time high school world history teacher for a charter school in north Philadelphia.

Besides teaching, I enjoy doing artwork, chess, archery, and tending to my garden and bonsai trees.  I spend much of my time with my family, friends, and my dogs.  Otherwise, history is my passion which I look forward to sharing with the students of Saint Mary.
