My name is Kate Pummer and am very excited to be here at SMS! Last year I was an aide in the third-grade class. This year, I will be teaching Art and an aide in the 4th grade class. I am thrilled to meet all the students this year and look forward to creating fun new projects together.I graduated from Moravian in 2006 with BA in Sociology and Criminal Justice. I worked as a counselor in an alternative school immediately out of college. Once I had children, I worked evenings at Penn Foundation for a few years and then became a stay-at-home mom for several years! I am currently attending Immaculata University to earn a PreK to 4 teaching certificate and master's degree.I am married with three boys who all attend SMS. We are huge Phillies fans and can often be found watching their games! I also love to coach any sport my boys try. We all like to take family walks, play games, have family movies nights, visit Hershey Park and travel! I am so excited to be here and look forward to meeting you all!
