Hi!
My name is Ms. Kristin Hasselman. This is my third year teaching at St. Mary’s. I arrived during the winter of 2020-2021 and I absolutely love it here. My first year I had an 8th grade homework but in subsequent years I have been the 6th grade homeroom teacher. I have taught both 6th and 8th grade math, 6th grade science, 5th grade social studies, and ELA in 5-8th grade. This year I am teaching 6-8 ELA, which happens to be my favorite subject.
I grew up in Ardmore, Pennsylvania and moved to Royersford in 2015. I have two children Brianna and Alessandro. Brianna is a 7th grade student in the Spring-Ford School district and dances competitively for Leroux School of Dance. Alessandro is 6 and in first grade at Royersford Elementary.
I attended Eastern University where I graduated with a Bachelor of English in 2018 and earned my teaching certificate in January of 2019. Prior to teaching at St. Mary’s, I taught 9th grade at Esperanza Academy Charter High School and 7th grade ELA and Science at St. Helena Incarnation School.
When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, going hiking, working on various crochet projects, and reading.
